Product Recall Notice: Dark and Lovely Precise Diamond Straight and Shine Relaxer 125 Ml Tub, Batch Numbers: 87UD00 and 87UD01

L’Oréal South Africa has initiated a voluntary product recall of Dark and Lovely Precise Diamond Straight and Shine relaxer 125 ml tub, batch numbers: 87UD00 and 87UD01. Consumers in possession of the relaxer with these batch numbers are urged to immediately discontinue use of the product and return it to the point of sale for a full refund.

According to L’Oréal, an imbalance of an ingredient has occurred which renders the affected products non-conforming with the specifications and resulting in an increased risk of hair loss or breakage and increased risk of reaction to the scalp.

Consumers may return any unopened units of the affected product to the retailer from which the purchase was made, for a full refund.
