Covid-19 Task Force Announces End of Extreme Social Distancing
Botswana’s Covid-19 Task Force has announced the end of extreme social distancing. In a news release today, the Coordinator of the Task Force Dr. Kereng Masupu says the easing of Covid-19 restrictions starts at midnight on 20th May 2020.
The public will be allowed to freely move within their zones without permits. However, movement from one zone to another will require a permit. Members of the public are urged to continuously wear masks, observe social distancing, and frequently wash their hands with soap and water. Businesses are further urged to observe the laid down Covid-19 protocols.
